Dedicated to Autism Spectrum Disorder
Set in the comforting environment of a family home, E.C.E. 4 Autism is located in the beautiful Nohl Ranch hills in the city of Orange.
With two locations within a residential area in the city of Orange, our students get the unique opportunity to be in an environment that is home like, comforting and inviting.
When inside the classroom, the children work with the staff in a bright classroom, furnished to optimize socialization. Within the program, the students are encouraged to interact with peers, through play, eye contact, and language.
Overlooking the County of Orange, the property offers a large playground, with a bike & scooter track, a playhouse and state of the art play equipment.
Our program includes swim instruction , water play, and recreational swim in a heated salt water pool on our site.
The children are served home cooked, fresh and balanced meals, helping to minimize frequent eating difficulties.
Irene Bellot worked with children, both typically developing and special needs, for over 50 years. Before starting her own program, she worked in the mental health field as well as private schools. Her successful approach has been developed over many years, with a focus on eliminating self-stimulatory behaviors and creating an optimum environment for each individual child. Irene’s philosophy was that each child must master basic skills and appropriate behaviors before true progress can be made, both socially and academically. In 1996, Irene founded ECE 4 Autism when she saw the need for a nurturing program that used a whole child approach to behavior management. In 2001 the program was certified as a Nonpublic Agency for behavior modification and functional skills.
In January of 2015 Hoonoosh Farzaneh joined ECE 4 Autism as the director and behavioral specialist. With a Masters in Child Psychology and Development from Pepperdine University, she has been working through with children of all ages for over 17 years. Through her direction the previous Nonpublic Agency was credentialed through the California Department of Education as a Nonpublic School working in close collaboration with schools and the department of education.
ECE 4 Autism always has an opportunity for enthusiastic professionals and volunteers.
